Bundle and package finished openings for job-site delivery and crane offloading

What this does

Groups finished window and door frames onto steel A-frames, wooden stillages, and pallets for organized transport, site crane offloading, and damage prevention.

Before you start

  • Produced units inspected and released by quality control.

Steps

Dispatch packages management list with stillage codes, unit counts, and destination project tags

Important

Pack windows strictly by building floor and elevation sequence so site installation crews can offload directly to the installation room without re-sorting on site.

  1. 01
    Open Production › Shop Floor › Dispatch Packages and click New.
  2. 02
    Select the destination project and customer delivery site address.
  3. 03
    Scan or select serialized window units assigned to this delivery batch (e.g. Ground Floor Villa Openings).
  4. 04
    Assign the package container type (Steel Stillage, A-frame Glass Rack, Box Pallet).
  5. 05
    Generate the master Dispatch Stillage Manifest and print heavy-duty weather-resistant shipping tags.

Common mistakes

  • Loading oversized sliding door sashes onto flatbed trucks without corner protection bumpers.
  • Overloading delivery stillages beyond truck payload weight limits.
